Nick holds over 20 years experience in the silver
and jewellery sector having headed up positions
for large retailers and regional auction houses.
Nick is a regular contributor to the antiques trade
press. His favourite finds to date are a pair of
World War II submarine binoculars which sold
for at auction for £1,900 and a first edition of
“The Hobbit”, which achieved a hammer price
of £10,200.
Will William Farmer

Glass, Furniture & Decorative Arts

Will specialises in 20th Century decorative
arts covering ceramics, glass and furniture. He
studied at the Birmingham School of Jewellery
undertaking a combined BA Hons in silversmithing
and Fine Art history. Notable finds include a
Martin Brothers Stoneware bird selling for
£20,500 and a rare collection of documents relat-
ing to the Stourbridge Glass Industry selling locally
for over £22,000. Will has featured as an expert
on the BBC’s 20th Century Roadshow and
is now in his fourth season as an expert with
the Antiques Roadshow.
Helen Helen Powell MRICS
Senior Valuer & Auctioneer
Ceramics and Paintings

Helen, auctioneer and valuer, has
worked in the industry for over
sixteen years heading up departments in a number
of Midlands auction rooms. Helen became a mem-
ber of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
in 1999 and holds a first class honours
degree in the History of Art and Design and a
postgraduate diploma in arts management. She
works in the fields of early English ceramics, 18th
Century glass, Oriental fine arts and paintings.
Helen recently discovered a watercolour by Walter
Langley which achieved £22,000 at auction.

Andrew brings to Fieldings eighteen years experi-
ence in auctioneering having held a senior post
with a regional firm looking after regular weekly
general sales and bi-monthly Fine Art. Andrew
deals with probate and estate work within the
company involving his interests in furniture and
design items.

sector, Judith manages all aspects of the adminis-
tration, accounts, finance and credit control at
